Tile Roof Cleaning
Hoover Pressure Cleaning follows the cleaning standards set by the tile manufacturing company. This will help you maintain your roof in excellent condition. Procedure: a light solution of liquid chlorine is applied to kill mold and fungus, followed by a thorough rinse and clean with 100% water. We clean using a surface cleaner, this allows us to use less pressure in a more effective manner. This cleaning procedure will also allow us to clean in a plant friendly way. This is followed by a debris rinse of the exterior, pool area and driveway. We are not chemical or bleach cleaners / soft wash and do not use heavy solutions of chlorine. Therefore, plants do not need to be covered and yearly cleaning is unnecessary. We will rinse the windows as much as possible to avoid streaking but we do not clean windows.
Shingle Roof Cleaning
Hoover Pressure Cleaning follows the cleaning standards set by the shingle manufacturing company. This will help you maintain your roof in excellent condition. Procedure: we utilize a product called Roof Restore that is non-toxic, EPA approved and safe for the landscaping & the environment. Then, we turn the pressure down to about as much pressure as a garden hose and start rinsing with pure water. This is followed by a debris rinse of the exterior. We are not chemical or bleach cleaners / soft wash and do not use heavy solutions of chlorine. Therefore, plants do not need to be covered and yearly cleaning is unnecessary. On average, it takes 5-7 years for the fungus to return.
Membrane Roof Cleaning
PVC, TPO, or flat roofs are also referred to as Membrane roofs. Commercial, Mobile and Manufactured Homes have these types of roofs. For these type of Roofs our cleaning includes a thorough pressure clean of your Flat Roof. With this we use light solution of chlorine, 10-15%, enough to kill any fungus / mold / algae and helps loosen and remove dirt and yet be plant friendly. We rinse with 100% water. Please note that if mold and fungus have been sitting on these areas for long periods of time, staining will occur and our methods of cleaning will not remove these stains.
